Hi my lovelies,
I'm sorry for being so inactive recently, I want to explain...
So recently I have just felt totally unmotivated and in turn my blog has suffered. However, with the help of a wise friend I have come up with a plan for this blog which I love so very much. Instead of committing to posting twice a week and then feeling guilty if I don't, I will post when I have a post ready. Now I know this sounds like it's doomed from the beginning but I truly believe this will actually encourage me to post better content. Another thing that this will mean is that I will be posting majority outfit posts, because, in all honesty, these are my favourite things to shoot then I can just chat to you guys about life and fashion.
So to summarise, I won't be posting on a schedule, rather I will post more outfit posts (like this one) when I have them (which will hopefully be often because my closet is forever growing). However, I will also occasionally post lifestyle and beauty posts too, because I still do really love these topics.
I could try and explain my reasoning for doing this but I don't want to take up too much more of your time haha. Because I won't be sticking to a strict schedule if you want to know when a post does go up you should subscribe to get post updates.
Enough of that, I am so excited for this outfit, in particular the jacket!
Before I talk about this jacket I just want to quickly rave about how in love I am with this dress. It is so comfy and I literally have been wearing it constently. It is so versatile and flattering. If you don't already, I highly suggest you get yourself a nice soft, comfy and casual bodycon dress because, trust me, you will be obsessed.
I. AM. IN. LOVE. This jacket is honestly a dream come true and I hardly believed it when I found it just hanging on the shelf like no big deal. This jacket is a big deal. Not only is it a rockin oversized denim jacket (like can you really go wrong with one of them?), it is covered in empowering, girl power quotes! WHAT! How awesome is that! I am a huge, huge advocate for girl power and empowering and inspiring woman so this jacket was literally like something sent from heaven to me. I tried my best to capture how badass and awesome this jacket was but just in case I didn't do it justice, here are some of the quotes from it:
